NEW YORK, September 15, 2005 — In response to Delta Air Lines' and Northwest Airlines' filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, the global airline alliance SkyTeam, of which both are members, issued the following statement:
SAN DIEGO, Calif., August 16, 2005 — SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, today announced the introduction of a new corporate travel program for global companies, offering competitively priced, customized travel solutions across most of the alliance's 684 destinations in 133 countries via a single contract. NEW YORK, June 22, 2005 In celebration of its fifth anniversary, the SkyTeam alliance today reflected on accomplishments to-date and outlined strategic focus areas for its next five years and beyond. AMSTERDAM, June 9, 2005 - At a press briefing following its semiannual meeting in Amsterdam today, the SkyTeam Governing Board announced the finalization of the alliance's Associate Program and named the first carriers selected to begin the joining process: Air Europa of Spain; Copa Airlines of Panama; Kenya Airways of Kenya; and Tarom of Romania. All four carriers have already begun the process of meeting the necessary operational and service standards to attain Associate status, with completion expected in 2006. The airlines will sign a SkyTeam Associate Adherence Agreement (SAAA) this summer.

NOORDWIJK, THE NETHERLANDS, April 13, 2005 - At a meeting today in Noordwijk, The Netherlands, the SkyTeam Steering Committee announced that passengers traveling via the alliance's Round the World (RTW) and Europe Pass products will have greater options, in terms of schedules and destinations, with the addition of Continental's, KLM's and Northwest's route networks. Effective April 15, RTW customers can select flight options from any of the nine member airlines, while Europe Pass customers have their choice of routes operated by the alliance's four European carriers.
MEXICO CITY, February 17, 2005 - SkyTeam customers traveling via Mexico City International Airport (MEX) will be accommodated in a brand new alliance facility, which includes more room, an enhanced flight information display system, and an expanded passenger drop-off area. The space will be shared by the six SkyTeam members that currently serve Mexico City's international airport. Currently, Air France, Aeromexico and Delta Air Lines are operating out of the new facility, with Continental Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Northwest Airlines scheduled to move to the location shortly.
